I talked myself in a circle.

Some days I am terrified of real life. I dread it's rapid approach and tremble at the thought of actually be a *gasp* adult.

Other days I am sick of college. I get tired of living with a bunch of girls (even though I love them). I get tired of grades and homework and the constant competition that surrounds each and every class, assignment, presentation, etc.

Today is one of those "other days."

Right now, real life... a life where I wake up and go to work for 8 hours. A life where I come home to my husband and, instead of doing homework, we clean the house and cook dinner together, or maybe go on a date. A life where I make real money for doing real work. A life where I have a real house with a real bed and real curtains and a real backyard.

I know this life isn't easy. And I once I get there I'll probably reminisce at the simplicity that is college life. But today, right now, I don't want to be a 20 something, struggling college student. I'd rather be a 20 something struggling employee, wife, homemake/owner, mother, etc.

But, that said, I'm grateful for what I have. For my opportunities and for my education. Real life would be a heck of a lot worse if I didn't have the college-life period first.

So, it's okay. I'm doing okay. Actually, all things considered... I'm doing more than okay. I'm doing great.
