speaking of baking...

i made some pumpkin bars yesterday and they were DELICIOUS!!! My dad loved them, which made me feel good because I'm not usually one to spend all day in the kitchen. To know what the people I loved enjoyed the things I had made was very rewarding. So much so that I embarked on a baking journey today and made a pumpkin roll. It looks pretty good but I think the pumpkin bars tasted better... but they are just bars and lack the flare of the roll.
